Sharon Tod assists clients in many areas including estate planning and dealing with incompetency issues through Powers of Attorney or Committeeship Applications. Ms. Tod has extensive experience dealing with age related issues. She makes house calls for seniors and shut-ins.

Ms. Tod has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Winnipeg and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Manitoba. She was called to the Bar in 1986 and has been a partner with Inkster, Christie, Hughes LLP since 1990. Her preferred areas of practice are Wills and Estates, Real Estate and Civil Litigation. Ms. Tod is active in the Manitoba Bar Association sub-sections in these areas and has given numerous presentations on Wills and Estates, Powers of Attorney and Real Estate for various senior groups, financial institutions and professional groups including the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg. Ms. Tod is a member of the Elder Law Practice Group. established with the firm.

Ms. Tod has published articles in Impact, a magazine published by the Financial Advisors Association of Canada.

Ms. Tod is Vice-Chair of the Wills and Estates section of the Manitoba Bar Association, past Chair and a current member of the Board of Managers for St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, a member of the Board of Directors for St. Matthews Kids Korner and Vice-President of the St. Boniface Hospital Curling League.
