Sandip Sett was called to the Bar in 1989. He has been practicing almost exclusively in the area of Family Law since then. He joined the Winnipeg law firm of Inkster Christie Hughes LLP as a partner in November 1999. He is a member of their Family Practice Group.

Sandip has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Manitoba Bar Association since 1989, and he was on the Manitoba Family Bar Executive in 1991. He has served on a number of committees, including the Court of Queen's Bench Child Protection Advisory committee, as a volunteer with the Court of Queen’s Bench Auto Order Clause committee, and was a past a Chair of the Legal Aid Advisory Committee. He is also a member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba, a group of professionals including lawyers, psychologists, counsellors and financial planners who work together in a respectful and cooperative manner to assist clients to resolve their family issues.

Sandip has appeared at every level of Court in Manitoba. He has been using collaborative-like processes in litigation and practicing collaborative law for many years. Sandip has successfully helped many of his clients make informed decisions and win or settle their cases. In the process, he has helped his clients lay a foundation to reach future resolutions of family problems that may arise.
