David Bowman has been helping clients resolve their
legal issues since 1986. David’s legal practice
covers many areas of law, including family, real
estate, wills, estates, small business, and civil
litigation. He is an associate of the law firm Inkster
Christie Hughes LLP and is a member of the firm’s
Elder
Law Practice Group and Family
Practice Group. David has represented clients
in all levels of court in Manitoba.
David graduated from University of Manitoba in 1983
with a Bachelor of Arts (History major, English
minor). He went on to receive his Bachelor of Laws
from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law in
1986.
He articled with the firm Inkster Walker Chornous
and was called to the Bar of Manitoba in 1987. After
his call David continued his practice with Inkster
Walker Chornous and its successor firm, Inkster
Christie Hughes, from 1987 to the present day.
In addition to helping clients with their legal
problems David also gives lectures to the Self Employment
Program at Meyers, Norris, Penny on basic legal
issues surrounding the start-up of small businesses,
several times a year. He also lectures to the students
of the Legal Assistant class at Herzing Career College
on Family Law.
David’s community involvement has included
volunteering as a member of the Board of Directors
of the Manitoba Runners’ Association and the
Board of Management of the Manitoba Marathon. Inkster
Christie Hughes LLP is a medium-sized Winnipeg law
firm offering assistance to clients in all major
areas of law. |
